As you noticed, Egypt made a historic performance, with its 19th position in the final standing, and winning the gold medal for toping the section B in the Olympiad (best performance of a team – as seeded 40, it finished as 19th), qualifying, en passant, to the Intercontinental teams championship.

Lebanese wise. The team couldn’t capitulate on its big performance of round 5 after beating the strong team of Philippine. Spending half and full points here and there forced all the followers to hold their arms towards their hearts.

I will not get involved here in of (What to do and how) in what to recommend to get better performance in the future events,  as it is related to the LCF board decisions, being technically and/or financially, in strategical planning, as psychologic and sociological  aspects of the Lebanese mind and character as well.
